Jackie Robinson — Faith in Action

The above is the link to an article about the great baseball player, Jackie Robinson, who broke the major league’s color barrier back in 1947.  Robinson’s Christian faith and the support of Branch Rickey, a devout Christian and owner of Robinson’s team, the Brooklyn Dodgers, were key elements in Robinson’s ability to endure the terrible trials that racism threw at him.  This is a great article.  It is a picture of the Gospel in practice.  RMF
