Today I want to share a link to an interesting and what many will consider a controversial issue, i.e., modesty. This particular article by Kayla Gulick, one of my very fave bloggers at Lessons of Mercy, addresses what is, even within Christian circles, a matter of widely divergent opinion.
I must admit that as a guy I am challenged and troubled by women who dress in what I believe is inappropriate public attire. Scripture teaches: Timothy 2:9-10, we read:
I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, 10 but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God. (Timothy 2:9-10, NIV)
